Terms of Use

Last updated: 17 August 2026 · See also our Privacy Policy

1. What Wavelength is, and who provides it

Wavelength (also listed as "Wavelength Pro Audio Editor") is a classic-style waveform audio editor. It comes as an iPhone/iPad app, a Mac app (from the App Store or the download on this site) and a free browser version, Wavelength Studio, at wavelength.aydayazdani.com/studio. It records, edits and exports audio files.

It is provided by AYDA Digital, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). Contact: admin@aydayazdani.com.

By downloading, opening or using Wavelength you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. Things a friend would warn you about

3. Security, and its limits

The apps keep your recordings on your own device (and, if you choose, in the folders or cloud storage you save to). They are protected only by your device and its passcode. Anyone who can unlock your device, sign in as you, or holds a file or link you shared can hear and use your audio. Keep your device locked, use two-factor authentication on your Apple and Google accounts, and sign out on shared computers.

We are not responsible for what other people do with audio or information you shared, or for anyone who gains access to your account, device, files or links — whether that is a partner, family member, employer or anyone else.

4. Data loss

Wavelength is provided free or for a one-off price, as is. Autosave, crash recovery and the browser Studio are conveniences, not a storage service. We make no promise that any recording, project or export is kept, recoverable or delivered, and we are not liable for lost, deleted or corrupted data. Keep your own backups and export anything you care about.

5. Lawful and fair use

Use Wavelength only for lawful, non-abusive purposes. Do not use it to record people unlawfully, to infringe copyright, to harass anyone, or to make misleading or deceptive audio. You are solely responsible for complying with the law where you are. We may cooperate with lawful requests from authorities and may withdraw access to Wavelength Studio from anyone misusing it.

6. No warranty, and limits on our liability

Wavelength is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation or freedom from errors. We may change, suspend or stop the apps, the Studio or this site at any time.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from Wavelength is capped at £50 for free versions, or the amount you paid us for Wavelength in the 12 months before the claim for paid versions. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or lost recordings.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere you keep any protection your local law gives you that cannot be taken away by agreement. For copies downloaded from the App Store or Mac App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple is not responsible for the app or for supporting it.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms; the date at the top shows the current version and continued use means you accept the update. Questions: admin@aydayazdani.com.
